Amsterdam Airport
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located just ten miles (sixteen kilometres) southwest of Amsterdam city centre. Served by all major international airlines, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is considered to be one of the finest in Europe, in terms of both its facilities and efficiency.
The airport is connected by an extensive network of roads, highways, railways and waterways to all locations within the Netherlands, as well as to all major European cities and transportation hubs.

Road
The Netherlands has a vast and dense national network of road connections to all other European countries. The average road density is 4 km of road per km2.

Railroad Transportation
The Netherlands has a dense railway network that offers frequent service, as well as the quickest way to travel between city centres. The Dutch railway system is fully integrated in the European rail network. Rail transportation is possible throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The carriages are modern and clean and the trains usually run on time and compare favourably with national train service in other European countries.

High Speed Line
In 2007 the Netherlands will get a connection to the European network of High Speed Lines (HSL). Ultra-fast trains with a maximum speed of 300 kilometres an hour will take travellers directly from Amsterdam to Schiphol, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Brussels and Paris.

-Every 10 minutes, a high-speed train will leave Amsterdam in the direction of Rotterdam.

-Eight trains depart daily from The Hague to Brussels, via Breda. Additionally, eight shuttle trains will daily travel to Rotterdam, allowing passengers to change there to high-speed trains.
